Everything and Everyone is small eclectic market celebrating DIY arts, crafts, comics and self-publishing. Inspired by Auckland’s zinefest and First Thursday events – with a particularly queer flavour.
This is an event for people wanting to buy or sell goods exploring queerness, transness, sexuality, gender, poly, kink, leather, feminism, geekery, and everything in between. In short it is an art and craft market for Everything and Everyone!
Kakelake (it’s German for cockroach) has been distributing local and international zines and small press around Auckland for a few years now, whenever the time, the place and the mood are right. We’ve got a range of zines and books to bring along on Saturday – all some kind of queer and some kind of awesome. Keep an eye out for some free stuff fresh off the photocopier just for Everything and Everyone.
Taine’s amazing bow ties were a last minute addition to our fair last year – he has been making bow ties by hand for two years now. Designs this year include Batman, Star Wars, pineapples, rainbows and pukekos. They are made with meticulous attention to detail, taking around 3 hours each, and will be selling for $25 – $30.
