11.30 – 12.30: Free bookbinding workshop
learn single section pamphlet sewing. A practical, hands- on demonstration. This is a great, useful, easy to learn skill, that you can add to your repertoire if you’re into making zines, writing, poetry, journaling, self-publishing, feel like being creative or just want to have a go at something different.
Joe Horton is a qualified hand bookbinder, with over 15 years experience, with many of his creations winning industry accolades and awards for his employers. Some examples of his work are housed in the Auckland Libraries: Special Collections. He’s approachable, hands on, and enthusiastic about sharing his love and passion for bookbinding with others.
Teaming up for the first time, these two Everything and Everyone market veterans – Stace and Ash – will be selling fandom-related pins, prints and stickers.
R & M Zines are the amazing zines of Makyla Curtis and Richard Kearney. They make heaps of different zines both collaboratively and individually including art zines, poetry zines, zines in te reo Māori, abstract comics and asemic writing.

Taine has been making bow ties by hand for many years. Designs this year include Batman, Star Wars, pineapples, rainbows and pukekos. They are made with meticulous attention to detail, and are a must for any dapper queer!
We’re so excited to have Splitclay, who is new to our market, join us this year. Clay is a queer artist creating zines and art about their experiences, and they like to help people feel less lonely with their art.
